Lara Taylor

Lara Taylor holds a Master of Library & Information Science from the University of Southern Mississippi and is completing her PhD in Technology at Purdue University (May 2028), where her research focuses on human-centered AI implementation. She serves as Creator of The Spark, a Perplexity Fellow, and MSAIC Fellow (Mississippi AI Collaborative Educator AI Accelerator Fellowship).

Lara’s work sits at the intersection of human judgment, practical AI literacy, and responsible technology adoption. Her perspective is shaped by a background spanning higher education, live media production, and twelve years as a social media and digital communications business owner. Across her entrepreneurial work, she has supported organizations of varying size and complexity, translating emerging technologies into clear, usable practices grounded in real-world constraints.
