Everyone who shapes the institution
Leaders, faculty, and staff each meet AI from a different perspective. We design programs that give each group what it needs and help institutions move forward with AI fluency.
Academic leaders
Briefings and working sessions for presidents, provosts, deans, and cabinets on AI strategy, policy, and governance, built on your mission and your accreditation commitments.
Faculty
Course design, assessment, and feedback with AI, grounded in each discipline and in your academic integrity policies. Faculty who arrive skeptical are welcome here. Their questions and concerns tend to make the work better.
Staff
Advising, student services, admissions, and operations, with AI applied to the work staff do every day and to the student data they protect.
What we build with your institution
Every program is shaped around your institution. We start with what your people already know, what your policies require, and the work they want to do better.
Fluency
Faculty and staff build the judgment to use AI well in teaching, research, and service, so their students are ready for professional life, and to recognize the decisions that belong to people.
Critical inquiry and responsible citizenship
People examine AI as a subject of critical inquiry, so they can question it, guide its development and use, and help shape AI and emerging technologies as responsible citizens.
Workflow transformation
Departments redesign one process at a time, such as course design, advising communication, or admissions review, with human judgment placed where it matters.
Strategic AI leadership
Presidents, provosts, deans, and cabinets set direction, policy, and governance for AI that faculty and staff can understand and act on.
Leadership development
Chairs, directors, and emerging leaders build the clarity, trust, and judgment their roles ask of them, with or without AI in the picture.
Organizational culture and change
Campus teams work through change across departments and roles with trust intact, so new practices last after the program ends.
Student sessions and events
Faculty and staff learn to lead AI sessions and events for students themselves, so the work continues after we leave. We also offer student-facing sessions.
Responsible use, built into every program
Student data and FERPA, academic integrity, and your AI policies run through every session rather than sitting in a separate module. We teach responsible practice, and your compliance and legal teams remain the authority on what your institution requires.
Ways we can work with you
Some institutions want a keynote and a workshop. Others want a program that runs across a term, a year, or more. We design the work around your people, your calendar, and your goals, for leaders, faculty, and staff.
A virtual or onsite keynote or workshop
A keynote, conference session, or hands-on workshop that starts the conversation for your campus or for one group.
A virtual or onsite intensive
One or more days that can include a keynote, workshops, department-wide meetings, governance sessions, and more.
An institution-wide program
A program that spans a term, a year, or more, with sessions for leaders, faculty, and staff and deeper practice and application as people’s skills grow.
Ongoing support
Continued development as AI and career readiness continue to change, including onboarding for new employees, refreshers on what has changed, and work that deepens your institution’s effectiveness with human-centered AI.
Led by people who teach
Charlena Miller, Co-Founder and CEO, is a management professor who teaches at the undergraduate and MBA levels. She serves as a faculty mentor for the AAC&U Institute on AI, Pedagogy, and the Curriculum. A Yale Life Worth Living Faculty Fellow, she developed curriculum that helps students and professionals explore human flourishing and life worth living in the AI era.
Our facilitators are educators and practitioners who have taught, advised, and led inside colleges and universities, and every session is designed to be used the following week.
